Project Description
Dr. Justin Presseau is an Associate Professor in the School of Epidemiology and Public Health and the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa in Canada, and a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute where he leads the Psychology and Health Research Group (http://ohri.ca/pahrg/) and is core faculty within the Centre for Implementation Research (http://www.ohri.ca/cir/). His research program operates at the intersection between behavioural and implementation science, spanning evidence synthesis to multi-methods intervention development to trials and process evaluation. His work draws on behaviour change theories and methods to understand factors that promote and undermine behaviour change in healthcare and in patients and the general public. His research program includes a focus on supporting greater access and culturally and linguistically tailored support for retinopathy screening among people with diabetes who have immigrated to Canada (https://www.ohri.ca/profile/jpresseau/retinopathy-screening).
